Lithium batteries can be very dangerous and should never be placed in garbage or recycling bins. The Township accepts rechargeable batteries at its Recycling Center.
Lithium batteries can catch fire when crushed in a collection truck or at a sorting facility. They should never go in your garbage or recycling bins.
The Old Bridge Township Recycling Center accepts rechargeable batteries. All recycling information, including drop-off hours, is available at oldbridge.com/recycling.
